Manufacturing and metallurgy

Machining: 5 to 9 axis CNC and robotic cells, dedicated to the project so delivery does not queue behind other work.
Heat treatment: Vacuum furnaces and atmospheric ovens: solution and ageing cycles, curing, degreasing, heat tint control.
Coatings: Diffusion coatings, dipped and sprayed slurry aluminides and silicon modified aluminides for high-temperature oxidation and abrasion resistance.
Surface preparation: Abrasive blasting and shot peening with cut wire, steel shot, ceramic or nickel media; compressor section coatings.
Metallurgical lab: Hot and vacuum mounting, automated polishing, optical microscopy with image analysis, on the same site as the machines.

Engineering and field

Analysis and testing

Hydraulic design: Impeller and collector design for performance and reliability, with acoustic and cavitation analysis.
CFD and FEA: Flow and stress modelling, lateral and torsional rotor analysis, structural and mechanical design review.
3D scan and CAD: Dimensional capture of the existing component when the original drawing is not available.
Field testing: Performance testing of pumps, blowers and compressors, multichannel level 4 vibration survey, ODS and modal analysis, dynamic thrust load measurement and field balancing.
Bad actor program: Systematic elimination of chronic equipment: process and system review, forensic evaluation, solution implementation and verification.
