Cranes and structures

Overhead travelling crane

Single girder, with the hoist travelling on the lower flange, for maintenance bays and light production; or double girder, with the trolley on top of two girders, for a higher hook path, a walkway on the bridge and room for an auxiliary hoist. Top-running on the runway rails or underslung.

Gantry and semi-gantry

Rail-mounted legs for yards, storage areas and bays with no runway structure. Semi-gantry runs one side on a wall corbel.

SWL 1 – 10 tIndoor / outdoorAnti-derail

Jib crane, column or wall

180° or 360° slewing arm at the workstation, for machine loading, small assembly and pump handling.

Monorail and light crane systems

Enclosed track or beam monorails with switches and curves, and modular light crane systems for repetitive handling.

Capacity per projectSwitches · curvesModular

Elevators and industrial platforms

Goods and material elevators for moving loads between levels, plus scissor lifts and fixed work platforms. Guide rails, safety gear, landing gates and control per the layout of the plant.

Runways, structures and parts

Runway beams, runway rails and support columns; end carriages with geared motors, wheel blocks, guide and idler wheels and bearings; rope drums and hook blocks; buffers and end stops.

Classified areas

Built where an ignition source cannot be tolerated

The same cranes and hoists are supplied in explosion-proof execution: certified motors and switchgear, spark-resistant components in the load path, bronze or stainless hardware where required, and increased safety wiring.

Ambient range
−20 °C to +40 °C for explosion-proof units; −10 °C to +40 °C standard; −20 °C to +50 °C with special preparation, humidity below 90 %.
Marking
Gas and dust groups and temperature class stated per project, with the certificate in the equipment file.
Load path
Spark-resistant hook, rope guide and buffer materials; components selected to avoid hot surfaces.
Selection

Duty group first, tonnage second

The duty group follows from the load spectrum and the average daily operating time, per ISO 4301/1 and FEM 9.511. It governs the life of the machine, and it is the first thing we ask for.

—
ISO 4301/1 and FEM 9.511. Upper value: ISO group · lower value: FEM notation. Columns are average daily operating time in hours per day.
Operating time
t = 2 · H · N · T ÷ (V · 60) — H average lifting height (m), N cycles per hour, T daily working time (h), V hoisting speed (m/min).
Inspection
Daily checks on rope, hook block, limit switches and pendant; periodic service intervals tied to the remaining Safe Working Period.
Spare parts
Rope, hook blocks, brakes, wheel blocks, contactors and inverters held against the equipment file, not a generic catalogue number.
Training
Operator and maintenance training and certification, delivered at the plant.
